Terms of service

Terms of Service:

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Agreement to Terms: By accessing or placing an order through thejoytheory.store, operated by The Joy Theory, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Products & Pricing: All products are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to change prices, descriptions, or discontinue products at any time without notice. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate images and descriptions, but colors and details may vary slightly from what you see on screen.

Pre-Orders: Some or all products on this site are sold as pre-orders. Placing a pre-order means the item has not yet shipped and will be produced and shipped according to the timeline on the product page or our Shipping Policy. Estimated ship dates are our best estimate and are not guaranteed.

Orders & Payment: By placing an order, you confirm the payment information you provide is accurate and that you're authorized to use that payment method. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or pricing/product errors.

Shipping & Returns: Shipping timelines and return/refund terms are set out in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms.

Intellectual Property: All content on this site — designs, logos, text, and images — belongs to The Joy Theory and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Joy Theory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Changes to These Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Contact: Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact page.

Same spot as the others: Settings → Policies → Terms of Service box, then Save. And the same caveat as before applies here too — I'm not a lawyer, so this is a solid starting template, not a substitute for review if you want real legal certainty.
